Private tuition
I offer private tuition at my studio near Ashburton on Dartmoor, or locally in south Devon if you’d like a lesson in your own studio. Private lessons are two hours long and £100 per person, or £90 per person for two people in a shared class. Please contact me to book, and please note I teach Thursday – Saturday.

Workshops and group pottery experiences
Join me in my purpose-built luxury pottery studio #megashed on Dartmoor for a fun filled pottery experience tailored to your groups needs. These packages are suitable for 4 people minimum and 6 people maximum, and are available Thursday – Saturday.

Half day pottery package:
9am – 12 noon or 2pm – 5pm
£75 per person (4 people minimum and 6 people maximum)
Includes tea, coffee and cake
Includes glazing and firing of one small pot per person
- Expert tuition in a small group
- Introduction to clay preparation
- Make a pinch pot
- Have a go on the potters wheel to throw a bowl
Full day pottery package:
10am – 3pm
£150 per person (4 people minimum and 6 people maximum)
Includes tea, coffee and lunch
Includes glazing and firing of one small pot and three decorations per person
- Expert tuition in a small group
- Introduction to clay preparation
- Fundamentals of project design
- Basics of hand building and surface design
- Making xmas decorations
- Make a pinch pot
- Have a go on the potters wheel to throw a cup, plate or bowl
- Glaze demonstration
Glazed and fired items will be ready in 6-8 weeks for collection.

Terms and conditions
Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, payments for any tuition, workshops or classes are non-refundable. Payment must be received at the point of booking, in order to confirm any booking.
By signing up for a workshop or class you are agreeing to use the studio at your own risk with awareness of the inherent hazards of a studio environment, which include but are not limited to use of sharp tools and sharp edges, exposure to toxic materials, the dangers of using materials and equipment at high temperatures, and the risks associate with breathing silica dust.
